FACET Faculty Mentoring Training!
FACET Faculty Mentor Training—Apply Now!
Are you currently serving as a formal or informal mentor or are you interested in being a mentor for a colleague? Apply now for the June Faculty Mentor Training. The online training (approximately 8 hours in total) includes self-paced asynchronous modules to complete and a synchronous Zoom meeting to discuss faculty mentoring with all participants. Modules include Overview of TU’s Faculty Mentoring Framework; Faculty Mentoring Basics; Faculty Mentoring at Multiple Levels; DEI and Faculty Mentoring; Ethics and Faculty Mentoring; and Building a Successful Relationship with Mentees.
The schedule for the June training is below:
- Friday, June 7: training modules officially open
- Friday, June 14: target completion of modules 1 & 2
- Friday, June 21: target completion of modules 3 & 4
- Friday, June 28: target completion of modules 5 & 6
- Friday, June 28, 9:30 am-11:00 am: training wrap up, Zoom
