Storytelling Event – It’s Just a Myth

Please Join TU MFA Theatre Arts Student, JAM, as he hosts a 3-part, one-hour story telling series, “It’s Just a Myth.” Participants may choose to sit and observe or participate as voice actors or foley-makers (sound effects). Come in, bring your lunch and your best acting skills to bring mythic stories to life. We will discuss the themes in the myth and where we see these themes being played out in today’s time.

Part Two – March 27th – “Fabliaux of The Femme Fatale” – In the second installment of It’s Just A Myth, we examine the archetype of the femme fatale in Ancient Greek myths. Then, we will interrogate the biases and double standards in these stories through an interactive radio drama murder mystery set in today’s time.
