FREE Mental Health First Aid Course

How to support someone who may be experiencing a mental health problem

Mental Health First Aid is a course that teaches you how to identify and respond to signs of mental illnesses and substance use disorders. This training gives you the skills you need to provide initial help and support to someone who may be developing a mental health problem or experiencing a crisis. The courses are open to all TU faculty, staff and students at no cost in order to support others in crisis and reduce stigma surrounding mental health and substance use problems. The February and March courses will be held in-person in Burdick Hall 153 and require up to two hours of self-paced pre-work prior to the instructor-led sessions.

The next trainings are scheduled for February 23rd and March 8th from 9 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Detailed information for the participants will be sent out upon completion of registration from mhfa@echodevelopment.org
