Reduce, reuse, and recycle to help TU Race to Zero Waste!

The Campus Race to Zero Waste is underway. This friendly competition between universities across the country , sponsored by the National Wildlife Federation, is intended to promote waste reduction activities on campuses across the nation.

During February and March, hundreds of higher education institutions are ranked according to their weekly waste data for compost, recycling, and trash.  It’s more important than ever that you divert your food scraps and recycle your bottles/cans.  This competition will highlight the impact we can have by working together as a community.

Still not sure what waste goes where? Visit the new OSCAR AI waste sorting units in the University Union or search the online Know Before You Throw waste directory!
