**Virtual** Workshop on Personalized Land Acknowledgements
Join OIIE’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Education team for an interactive workshop on land acknowledgments: what is one, why they are becoming popular, and some things to consider when you’re considering the development of one.
Over the past two years, OIIE has been answering questions and sharing information about how to engage in a thoughtful Land Acknowledgement process. This workshop is an extension of that work. Participants will also have an opportunity to view the first video version of the university’s current land acknowledgement.
The virtual workshop will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, November 17, 2023.
All registrants will receive a Zoom link to access the training once registered.
