Faculty: What You Need to Know about Mini/Spring 2024 Textbook Adoptions

Workshop: On 10/17, FACET, Cook Library, and the UStore held a workshop on textbook adoptions. Representatives from each unit talked about how they work together to keep costs low for students and to connect TU students with the course materials they need. You can watch the recording of this workshop on Cook Library’s YouTube channel.

Help Keeping Student Costs Down: Cook’s liaison librarians can help you locate low and no-cost textbooks. Please consult this guide and feel free to reach out to your librarian for assistance.

Deadline: The UStore’s adoption deadline for Minimester and Spring 2024 is 10/30. You can find information on the UStore’s website (under the faculty tab at the top) for how to notify them about your adoptions.

Share Your Adoptions: Even if you are using free or Open Education Resources (OERs) in your classes or you don’t think students will purchase their books from the UStore, please notify the UStore of your adoptions. Cook Library builds their course books list based on what is reported to the UStore.
