Students: put a personal email on file with TU
Students can now view and update their personal email address in their Student Dashboard. Please note per university policy, a student’s TU issued email address will continue to be the account used for all official communications from university departments, faculty, staff and students. It is the student’s responsibility to monitor their towson.edu email address on a regular basis. However, students are now permitted to edit and keep a personal email address on file with the university.
- To view, edit or add a personal email address, navigate to the My Profile section of your Student Dashboard and select Contact Info.
- If a personal (“home”) email exists, select the pencil icon to edit the email address.
- If you do not have a personal email on file, select Add Email>Home to enter a new personal email.
- Students cannot edit their TU email address.
