Study Abroad in the UK during Minimester 2024
Study corporate and strategic communication in London with Towson University in January 2024! This course provides an analysis of corporate communication strategies in the UK used in developing internal and external communication plans. The UK’s role as a significant global economic environment will be examined. Guest lectures will be presented by experts in public relations, marketing, organizational communication, advertising, media, and politics.
The program is based in London, one of the liveliest and most cosmopolitan cities in the world and home to more than 7.7 million residents. Program highlights include a West End theatre performance, visits to Westminster Abbey and the Houses of Parliament, a day trip to Bath and Stonehenge, and a flight on the London Eye.
Participants will choose either MCOM 494 Study Abroad in Mass Communication (3 credits) or MCOM 670 Special Topics in Mass Communication (3 credits; grad only) with Professor Jenny Atwater.
