Expanding the ‘We the People’: Race, Gender, and Equal Protection of the Laws

The Constitution Day event at Towson University aims to provide a platform for participants to engage in critical discussions about fundamental values of our democracy, specifically focusing on the intersection of the principle of liberty and the minority rights. This program aims to deepen the understanding of the Constitution, its historical context, and its relevance to some of the most important social, moral, and political debates of our time. Guest Speakers Dr. Joanna Wuest and Dr. Jenelle Wong will explore the Constitution through the lens of race and gender immediately followed by a reception. For more information, follow this link
