ParkMobile is Replacing Paystations @ TU

Parking & Transportation Services is excited to announce a significant update to parking operations at Towson University. As part of our ongoing efforts to enhance convenience, improve efficiency, and provide a single system to obtain visitor parking permits. Effective July 3rd, 2023, we will convert all of our non-permit parking activities to our ParkMobile app. As a result, all paystations on campus will no longer operate after this date and we will begin removing them from the garages and surface lots by August 28, 2023.

ParkMobile allows all individuals that do not have a valid TU parking permit to conveniently manage parking sessions using a smartphone.

ParkMobile offers numerous benefits that will streamline the parking process, including:

Ease of Use: The ParkMobile app is user-friendly and intuitive, making it easy for you to initiate and manage your parking sessions.

Convenience: With ParkMobile, you can quickly find available parking spaces, pay for your parking sessions, and even extend your time remotely if needed, all from the convenience of your smartphone.

Notifications and Reminders: The ParkMobile app sends you notifications and reminders before your parking session expires, helping you stay informed and avoid unnecessary citations.

Contactless Transactions: In line with health and safety protocols, ParkMobile minimizes physical contact by eliminating the need for cash or card payments at paystations.

Implementing ParkMobile as our sole source for non-permit parking will greatly improve the parking experience for our entire Towson University community.

To download the ParkMobile App, please open the link below for QR code to pay online through parkmobile.io: https://parkmobile.io/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/SS-B2C-QRCodeHowTo_SS-QR-WEB.pdf  or download app from applicable store.
