Updates on BGE project

BGE is continuing to upgrade natural gas pipes and equipment in the communities north and east of TU’s campus. Expect temporary sidewalk closures and one-way traffic in the project areas highlighted below. BGE asks everyone traveling in the area to obey parking signs and flaggers posted in the area.

Traffic Impacts

Crews will be installing gas mains at the following locations this week:

• West Pennsylvania Ave from Washington Ave to Virginia Ave
• West Chesapeake Ave from Bankers Way to York Rd
• East Chesapeake Ave from York Rd to Virginia Ave
• Area surrounding 40 Linden Place
• Burkshire Rd

If any of these locations are along your commute, consider planning an alternate route and/or allow extra time to reach campus.
