Summary: The writer and editor Elizabeth DeMeo will talk about literary publishing: from finding your first job to selling your first book. DeMeo is an editor at Tin House, where she acquires and edits books of fiction and literary nonfiction. Originally from New Hampshire, she holds an MFA in fiction from the University of Arkansas, where she was Managing Editor of the Arkansas International and Director of the Arkansas Writers in the Schools program. The first five students to arrive will receive free books from Tin House. Books will also be given out at the Q&A.
