Join the Transfer Mentor Program!
Each semester, New Student and Family Programs hosts a mentoring program for our incoming transfer students, pairing them with faculty, staff, and the occasional successful transfer student. This semester, we are employing the use of the university’s mentoring platform, Tiger Mentor Network. If you are interested in mentoring incoming Transfer Tigers through their transition to Towson and offering professional connections and campus resources, please follow the below instructions to join the Tiger Mentor Network.
- Sign up for a Tiger Mentor Network account, if you do not already have one.
- Request to join the Transfer Mentor Program page.
- Follow the link or navigate to the ‘Connect’ menu and choose ‘Programs.’ The Transfer Mentor Program is listed.
- Fill out registration questions about your areas of expertise and wait for your request to be approved.
- Read over and understand expectations for participation.
- The Tiger Mentor Network will pair students and mentors based on questionnaire responses in mid-late August.
A kickoff event will be hosted early in the Fall semester, so you are able to meet your mentees in person.
