Faculty, participate in the 2023 Worldwide Climate Justice Teach-In by committing to #MakeClimateAClass

The TU Sustainability Community of Practice encourages all faculty to participate in the upcoming 2023 Worldwide Climate Justice Teach-In by committing to #MakeClimateAClass during the week of March 27-31.

Faculty and staff do not need to be climate experts to incorporate some discussion of climate or sustainability into a few minutes of a single class meeting. All you need to do is: (1) Devote 15 minutes to talking about how YOUR discipline is helping develop climate solutions, or (2) Invite a specialist colleague, alumnus working in the field, or local expert working in climate to join and discuss their work.

Helpful resources for incorporating climate into lessons in a wide variety of disciplines are available from OSUN’s collection (https://www.bard.edu/cep/solardominance/resources/) and Subject to Climate (https://subjecttoclimate.org/).

Register your course as a TU Teach-In participant

Thank you,

The Towson University Sustainability Community of Practice

P.S. The Sustainability Community of Practice meets on the third Friday of each month during the Spring 2023 term. For more information contact skedzior@towson.edu or pwatson@towson.edu.
