Virtual Workspace is moving to the cloud and will have a new look. You’ll access the applications that you use now in a new, secure and modern setting through https://desktop.towson.edu.

About the project
This project modernizes and improves the digital experience, enhances security capabilities, streamlines systems and increases efficiency.

What to expect
New desktops will roll out in phases. There won’t be any downtime and the legacy (existing) VW desktop will remain available until July 2023. Here’s the schedule:

  • Student and Towson desktops: live on March 22
  • Power BI/Reporting desktop: spring 2023
  • Computer & Information Sciences (CIS) and Science desktops: summer 2023
