TWO WEEKS to RSVP for Grant-Writing Workshop

CALL FOR PROPOSALS: DUE DECEMBER 1 BY 11:59 PM

The goal of this workshop (organized jointly by the Faculty Academic Center of Excellence, Office of Sponsored Programs & Research, and the School of Emerging Technologies) is to help faculty develop existing, unfunded external grant proposals into more competitive grant applications.

Participants will be paired with faculty mentors successful at winning external grants and OSPR staff who will support them over the course of two months as they re-write their existing grant proposal. After a January kick-off event, faculty and mentors will set accountability deadlines and meet to discuss progress over a two-month period. The workshop will include several sessions on crucial sections of grant applications, which will be identified once the participants in the workshop have been determined. At the end of the two-month period, faculty will complete the workshop with a revised and improved grant narrative that is ready to submit for the next round of external funding. Upon submission of their revised proposal, participants will receive a $500 stipend.

Applicants should complete theĀ online application, including theĀ funding announcement and unfunded proposal that will be their focus during the workshop period, with reviews if available.
