Party to the Polls: Cast Your Vote in the 2022 Midterm Election

Today, October 27th, is the first day of early voting in the 2022 Maryland Midterm Election.

The TU Votes Coalition will host Party to the Polls from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. today on the second floor of the University Union and UU 325. This community celebration of voting will include voter resources, games, food, a scavenger hunt, and prizes (including Stuff-a-Tiger).

 Important Voter Information

 Voter Guides

The Maryland League of Women Voters developed non-partisan 2022 General Election Voters’ Guides. You can access them on their website or pick up a hardcopy of the Baltimore County Guide during Party at the Polls or in the Office of Civic Engagement and Social Responsibility in the University Union 252.

 In-Person Voting

Early Voting is from October 27th through November 3rd and the General Election is on November 8th. Polling locations are open from 7 a.m. – 8 p.m.

Registered Marylanders can cast their vote at their assigned polling locations during that time.

Eligible Marylanders can register to vote and then vote during early voting and on Election Day by bringing an official government document to the polling location assigned to their address. Students can register as a Baltimore County voter at the South Campus Pavilion if they use their local on or off campus address.

 Voting via Mail-In Ballot

Any registered Maryland voter may vote by mail-in ballot. Mail-in ballots must be requested by November 1st. Members of the TU community can request a mail-in ballot through TU’s voter registration portal. Mail-in ballots must be postmarked or placed in a designated ballot drop box by 8 p.m. on November 8th.

 South Campus Pavilion Polling Location

Any eligible voter in the State of Maryland who requested a mail-in ballot can place their completed form in the drop box located along Auburn Drive across from the South Campus Pavilion between now and 8 p.m. on November 8th.

During early voting and on Election Day, anyone assigned to the South Campus Pavilion polling location can vote there between 7 a.m. – 8 p.m.

Take the Gold Route shuttle or park in Lot 8 with a valid TU permit to access the South Campus Pavilion.
