Where to Park this Fall

Regular parking enforcement is in effect on TU’s campus, and 22/23 academic year permits are valid. With the fall semester approaching, make sure to park in the appropriate parking area based on your vehicle’s permit. Get additional details on student, faculty/staff and visitor parking on the Parking & Transportation Services website. Parking in the incorrect area may result in a citation.

Where to Park

Follow these guidelines for where to park on campus. Make sure to read parking signs to avoid parking in the wrong area.

  • Faculty/Staff: Look for red and black signs. Use the faculty/staff parking spaces in the Union, Towsontown, Glen and West Village Garages, as well as in lots 1, 3, 9, 10, 14 & 19. Public Safety permits are valid in faculty/staff lots and Lot 12. General Services permits are valid in F/S lots and Lot 13.
  • Commuter students with Core Permits: Look for green and black signs. Park in designated core spaces at the Union, Towsontown or Glen Garages. Core permit holders can also park in the stadium lots (lots 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8) where Overflow signs read “All TU Permits are Valid.”
  • Commuter students with Overflow Permits: Park in designated areas of the stadium lots (lots 4, 5, 6 ,7 & 8) where signs read “Overflow – All TU Permits are Valid”.
  • Resident students with Resident Permits: Park in designated resident spaces per the resident permit.
  • Freshman Resident students: Students with less than 30 credit units earned, are not permitted to purchase any permit or have a car on campus unless they have a special exception.
  • Weekly or monthly permit users: Park in the overflow parking areas of the stadium lots (lots 4, 5, 6, 7, & 8) where igns read “Overflow – All TU Permits are Valid”.

Remember, you must have a valid TU permit to park on campus from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays and 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. Fridays.
