Free PD Webinar! Translanguaging: Language and Education

FRIDAY, MAY 13TH | 10:00 – 11:30 am via Zoom

Presented by Dr. Li Wei

This webinar will review the development of Translanguaging as an approach to language and education that aims to challenge the hegemonic relationship between named languages and seeks to find alternative ways of thinking and talking about the education of bilingual, minoritized, and racialized learners. Rather than reporting empirical findings, this session will be a conceptual exploration that invites discussions about the purpose and impact of bilingual education.
