27th-Annual Staff Development Conference

Make an Impact: Push What’s Possible

Wed., March 23 | 8 a.m.– 4 p.m.

University Union

To Register :  WALK IN – come to the information desk for the conference on the 3rd floor lobby of the University Union

Conference Details:

  • We are excited to have Dr. Nancy Grasmick, retired state superintendent of Maryland Public Schools and TU’s Presidential Scholar for Innovation in Teacher and Leader Preparation
  • Choose from 11 workshops in the morning session and nine in the afternoon
  • Join colleagues for a buffet lunch provided to registered attendees
  • Learn more about TU departments and our partners at the vendor marketplace. Try sample supplies from AJ’s and Rudolph’s. Items from TU’s art students will be available for purchase.
  • Drop your name in for fabulous door prizes donated by our vendors! (drawings at 3 p.m.)

STAFF SERVICE PROJECT

The TU Staff Senate encourages donations to the FoodShare Program/Pantry on campus. Donations can be brought to the conference. Learn more about the service project, including additional ways to donate.

Among the items most needed are:

  • Canned fruit
  • Ready rice pack
  • Pasta
  • Pasta sauce
  • Simmer sauces
  • Boxed milk and milk alternatives
  • Snacks
  • Mac and cheese
  • Items for baking
  • Spices and other cooking essentials
  • Sanitary pads (all sizes)
  • Dish soap
  • Laundry detergent pods
  • Men’s and Women’s deodorant
  • Paper towels
  • Toothbrushes
  • Any non-perishable items make great donations
