TODAY – Food, Culture and Memoir with Levita Mondie, Vegan Chef, Teacher and Writer – PRESENTED ON ZOOM AND IN PERSON

Levita Mondie, a vegan chef, teacher, and writer, will host a session about how food is an area where the connections between African Americans and their African roots can be seen in terms of what we eat as well as how we prepare things. She will also discuss ways one can reconnect with African roots through food, and expand upon the idea of “memoir” – how we remember and how we tell our own stories.

Please see here (passcode 90779030) for the Zoom link information.  You may also attend this event in person in the College of Liberal Arts, LA 4310.

For more information about this event, please contact Donn Worgs, Professor in the Political Science Department, at dworgs@towson.edu.
