Next week: Information Security Awareness Training 

Full-time TU faculty and staff will be receiving an Information Security Awareness Training email from the Office of Information Security (OIS) within the Office of Technology Services (OTS).  

What to expect 

  • Starting Feb. 22, an email containing the training will be sent from  with the subject line “Required Information Security Awareness Training. 
  • Full-time TU faculty and staff are expected to complete the training upon receipt of the email, which should take less than 30 minutes. 
  • KnowBe4is the online platform used by OIS to present the training.  

Why is the training used?
There has been a significant increase in phishing attempts against the campus. Information Security Awareness Training is designed to educate you on how to protect yourself, your family and the university from malicious or unlawful use of our resources by external sources, like cybercriminals.   

If you have questions or technical issues such as logging in or completing the activities, please submit a TechHelp service request.
