Winter Break 2021 – Contingent Lecturers
Towson University will be closed for winter break from December 24, 2021, through December 31, 2021.
Lecturers in departments that observe non-traditional work hours and schedules, or which perform essential functions, should discuss coverage with their supervisors.
Below is a guide to use for the winter break. Since there is no holiday leave code for Contingent Lecturers, the employee will record REG time for that day. If you perform work on a particular day, record the leave code REG and the hours for the day. If you use accrued sick leave during this time, record it on the timesheet.
In the comment section of the REG leave codes for December 24th through December 31st, please comment, “Winter Break.”
