Experienced Faculty Sharing What They’ve Learned: Reflections on a Life of Teaching

Faculty with 15+ years of teaching experience share their classroom mistakes, successes, instructional improvements, and general advice.  Topics include class management, effective lecturing, active learning, instructor tone & demeanor, student support, and assessment.

The panelists: Drs. Robert Blake (COE), Katherine Broadwater (COFAC), Samuel Collins (CLA), Karla Kubitz (CHP), and Larry Wimmers (FCSM). The session is targeted at newer faculty, though everyone is welcome to attend and participate. Lunch will be served to in-person attendees.
