Join the Hill-Lopes Scholars Program and Towson University professor Dr. Stella Tomasi for a Women in STEM Wednesday Career Chat about her journey from earning an undergraduate degree in chemistry to a career in business analytics. Dr. Tomasi is currently a faculty member in the Towson University College of Business & Economics Department of Business Analytics and Technology Management. She has used data science to analyze the athletic performance of sports teams and was the Principal Database Project Manager for Accenture in Philadelphia for 7 years before entering higher education. Dr. Tomasi also currently works with Girls in Technology, a subsidiary of Women in Technology (WIT), an organization that is dedicated to initiating programs designed to excite, inspire, create awareness and educate girls in grades 6 through 12 about the vast array of career opportunities in STEM fields.
