CLA Undergraduate Student Research Presentations

The College of Liberal Arts offers an awards program to undergraduate students to apply for and receive Summer Research Grants. These grants are designed to provide an opportunity for students to propose and pursue projects of their own, apart from curricular requirements or academic credit. Two CLA students were awarded research grants last spring and completed their projects during the summer. On Friday, October 8, at 2:30pm, the students listed below will present their research in person in LA 2310. Please mark your calendars and join us in support of these students.

Daniel Ashby, with Erik Ropers as faculty advisor
“Visualizing Textual Trends of Abuse on Twitter by the Japanese Far-Right”

Samuel Smith, with Paz Galupo as faculty advisor
“Experiences of Trans-IPV (Intimate Partner Violence) Survivors in the Context of Therapy”
