The Office of Public Safety is pleased to introduce TU’s new Director of Access Control, Bryan Trussell.
Bryan’s 25 years of law enforcement experience stood out in a competitive search. His experience includes 15 years in the Department of Public Safety at the Community College of Baltimore County (CCBC), where he was responsible for access control systems and the communications center. Bryan also holds a number of Homeland Security and Emergency Management certifications.
As Director of Access Control, Bryan will oversee the design, procurement, installation, maintenance and operations of all new and existing security systems, including keycards, traditional locking systems, alarm systems and video surveillance. He manages the daily operations of the university’s lock shop and is the main contact for special access requests.
