Starting today: changes to Zoom Cloud recorded meeting storage
As originally communicated in February, starting today, any video recording in Zoom older than six months will be deleted. You can continue to move saved Zoom recordings to Panopto if they are less than six months from the current date.
What to expect moving ahead
This will be an ongoing maintenance process: Zoom videos six months and older from the current date will be removed, Panopto recordings will remain in the system up to three years after their last view date. Once the Spring 21 semester ends, recordings will only be saved in Panopto. After that, Zoom cloud storage won’t be an option.
