Emergency Evacuation Procedures During COVID-19

Students, faculty and staff should follow regular emergency evacuation procedures during COVID-19. If a building alarm is triggered, all occupants must exit the building immediately. Do not follow COVID directional signage during an emergency. Keep your mask on at all times, proceed to the nearest exit, and resume physical distancing once you are outdoors.

Do not attempt to fight fires—evacuate. Report fires by calling 911 from a safe place outside the building. Do not re-enter the building until you are instructed to do so.

For additional information regarding fire emergencies, refer to the Emergency Resources Guide or TU’s Fire Emergency Policy. For questions, contact Environmental Health and Safety at safety@towson.edu.
