Conversation with Dunya Mikhail

Join us on Wednesday, March 3, at 7:00pm via Zoom to hear critically acclaimed poet and journalist, Dunya Mikhail, discuss her books about Daesh’s kidnappings and killings of Yazidi women in Iraq. Born in Iraq, Mikhail worked as a journalist and translator for the Baghdad Observer. Facing censorship and interrogation, she came to the United States in 1995. She is the award-winning author of four poetry collections and one book of nonfiction published in English.
