Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship Info Session Today!
Do you receive the Federal Pell Grant? If so, you could be eligible to apply for the U.S. Department of State’s Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship to study or intern abroad! To be eligible for a Gilman Scholarship, an applicant must:
- Be a citizen of the United States
- Be an undergraduate student
- Receive the Federal Pell Grant
- Apply for a program of at least 3 consecutive weeks overseas in a country(ies) with an overall Travel Advisory Level 1 or 2
- Not have previously received and accepted the Gilman Scholarship
Gilman offers scholarships of up to $5,000 with supplemental awards of up to $3,000 available for applicants who are studying a critical need language.
