Join the Hill-Lopes Scholars Program and Towson University Alumna, Erin Maxwell, for a Career Chat regarding her positions as a Forensic Scientist II with the Baltimore Police Department Drug Analysis Unit and as an Assistant Toxicologist with the State of Maryland Office of the Chief Medical Examiner’s Office.

About the Speaker
Erin Maxwell obtained a B.S. degree in Chemistry and a B.S. degree in Forensic Chemistry from Towson University in 2011, followed by a M.S. degree in Forensic Science from Towson University in 2013.  For the last two years, Erin has been employed as a Forensic Scientist II for the Baltimore Police Department in the Drug Analysis Unit.  Prior to working at BPD, she spent five years as an assistant toxicologist at the State of Maryland Office of the Chief Medical Examiner’s Office.  In addition to working in the forensic field, Erin has also been a part-time adjunct professor at Towson University since the fall of 2015 where she has taught General Chemistry I laboratory and Introduction to Analytical Chemistry laboratory.
