Online IRB Workshop: “Writing Effective IRB Applications during COVID-19: An Overview of Do’s and Don’ts”
Join the Office of Sponsored Programs (OSPR) and the Institutional Review Board (IRB) for a session navigating the TU IRB Process and conducting research during the COVID-19 pandemic. Topics to be discussed include:
1) An overview of the IRB and TU submission process,
2) what the IRB looks for in their reviews and what Principal Investigators (PIs) need to consider for a strong submission,
3) common problems that the IRB encounters in protocols and,
4) what the requirements are for studies during the pandemic, including what to do if you want to conduct in-person research.
A brief Q&A session to follow at the end.
