Open Enrollment for Parking Permits begins TODAY

It’s almost time! Parking permits for the 2020/2021 academic year will be available for faculty/staff to purchase beginning on today at 9 a.m. 

As we move through these unprecedented times, please know Parking & Transportation Services is working with and following the guidelines and direction of the USM and TU administration regarding parking. The following are parking changes for the 2020/2021 academic year for faculty/staff eligible for payroll deduction:

  • Those who were previously enrolled for payroll deduction for 2019/2020 MUST re-enroll in the program for 2020/2021. Please note: Auto renewals will not occur for Fall 2020 permits.
  • Faculty/Staff permits will be term permits instead of annual permits and must be purchased online through eParking.
  • With term permits, the number of deductions will be adjusted accordingly.  There will be an estimated 10 deductions per term if enrolled at the beginning of the term.

If you are interested and eligible (regular, non-contingent faculty/staff member) to split up your payments, you may sign up for payroll deduction during Open Enrollment (July 27, 2020 at 9 a.m. through Oct. 16, 2020 at 4 p.m.) for the Fall 2020 term.

Those enrolled in payroll deduction for Fall 2020 will be automatically renewed for parking for Spring 2021.  If you do not wish to have your permit automatically renewed for the spring, please advise the Business Office in writing through an email to onecard@towson.edu by Jan. 15, 2021.

Permits must be purchased online at: towson.edu/parking. Here’s how to enroll:

  • Click on “eParking.”
  • Then click “Permits” and then “Get Permits.”
  • You will need your TU NetID and password to log into your eParking account.
  • On the purchase page for your permit, select “Payroll Deduction” as your payment method.
  • Next, you must complete the Faculty/Staff Parking Permit Payment Plan Enrollment form through DocuSign.
  • You must complete payroll deduction form within five business days of your online permit purchase. Your permit will be cancelled if the Payroll Deduction Card is not completed and signed within that time.

Be advised, Faculty/Staff members who are currently enrolled in payroll deduction for the Fall 2019/Spring 2020 academic year will have to re-enroll. Visit towson.edu/parking for more information or call Parking & Transportation Services at 410-704-PARK.
