Virtual Event: Reimagining an Equitable Baltimore

Reimagining an Equitable Baltimore Wednesday April 29th 6:30-8pm Panelists and Baltimore organizers Eddie Conway, Adrianna Foster, Marvin Hayes, Eric Jackson, and Jamal Jones, will discuss organizing in a city where racial inequity, police violence, and hyper-segregation are prominent, how organizing in Baltimore has changed since the uprisings of 2015, how COVID-19 is disproportionately affecting those who are already the most marginalized and disenfranchized, and what organizing looks like in the face of this global pandemic. John Duda of Red Emma’s Bookstore and Coffeehouse will moderate the panel, which was organized by Nicole Fabricant and Sam Collins of Towson University.
