From Feb. 2 to Mar. 28, TU will compete against universities across the United States in RecycleMania. We’re sharing tips throughout the competition to raise awareness for composting, recycling and waste minimization.

What is the recycling rule for disposable cups?

All disposable plastic cups can be placed into the recycling bins on campus. All paper coffee cups, unless they are clearly marked as compostable, must be landfilled. Styrofoam cups are always landfilled. Try carrying your own reusable cups to truly reduce waste!
