Reminder: complete your 2019 Information Security Awareness Refresh Training
The Office of Information Security reminds full-time TU faculty and staff that have not completed the 2019 Information Security Awareness refresher training, that it is required and there is still time to complete it.
How to get started
Search your Outlook account for an email from securityawareness@towson.edu with the subject: 2019 Information Security Awareness Training (v.2) assigned to “your name” for instructions on how to login to SANS, the online training platform used by OIS. It should take about 15 minutes to complete the session.
Why is the training used?
Information Security Awareness Training is designed to inform you of the steps you can take to protect yourself, your family, and the university from malicious or unlawful use of our resources by external sources, like cybercriminals.
