The SPS/Workday system is available for the extension of the Open Enrollment (OE) period. The extended OE will end on Tuesday, November 19th, at 5:00 pm. Faculty and staff have received SPS notifications based on their OE event status with the new extended OE end date information.

Faculty and staff who completed and submitted events on or before Thursday, November 14th, do not have to do anything. Those who could not complete or make changes to their OE event on Thursday, November 14th, can now complete their event by Tuesday, November 19th at 5:00pm.

Additionally, employees who still need to attach new or re-enrolled dependent documentation can do so prior to Tuesday, November 19th at 5:00pm. If you have any questions on the correct/required documentation please review the New Dependent Required Supporting Documentation Quick Reference Guide

  • “Newly added dependents” are dependents that have never been covered before
  • “Re-enrolled dependents” are dependents that had been covered at one time in the past, but had a break in coverage during the 2019, current Plan Year.
