Community Development & Non-Profit Management in The Gambia & Senegal- Scholarship Raffle

Experience West Africa with Towson University in Minimester 2020. Buckle your seat-belt and get ready for some transformative learning! Gain a global perspective on the intersections of community development and nongovernmental organizations (NGOs) in The Gambia and Senegal. Engage with local community members and organizations by participating in NGO projects and initiatives and learn first hand about community organization and advocacy.

Program highlights include participation in the Mdboka Festival and a visit to Goree Island. Students will also work on group projects with non-profit organizations and participate in excursions to James Island and the Crocodile and Monkey Park at Kachikally.
