Sabbatical Presentations by Elyshia Aseltine and Michael Elliott, SOAN/CRMJ Department

Elyshia Aseltine and Michael Elliott, Associate Professors in the Department of Sociology, Anthropology and Criminal Justice, will deliver their sabbatical lectures on Thursday, May 9, from 3:00pm to 4:30pm in the College of Liberal Arts in LA 2211. Dr. Aseltine’s talk is entitled “Policing Baltimore’s Black Communities,” and Dr. Elliott’s talk is entitled “Unmasking the Sacred in Popular Culture: A Social Scientific Study of Comic-con Fan Communities.”
