Get your hands on some free, new threads at the university’s first-ever t-shirt swap and wear your TU pride.
What’s going on?
You can swap any shirt with an old Towson University logo for a brand new, free, limited-edition TU tee. It’s simple. Just bring one and you’ll get one.
Does your old shirt still spark joy? The Office of Sustainability will be on hand to help you transform it into a new bag at the Fix It Fair, happening in the 2nd floor lobby. Fix it Fair space is limited, however, and will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
So what happens to all those old shirts?
Don’t worry – the university’s Office of Sustainability is helping to keep those old TU tees out of landfills. Shirts collected will be repurposed and upcycled into something new (because sustainability is important).
Where and when do I get my free t-shirt?
Get your new tee at the University Union, Patio Potomac on Tuesday, March 12 from 11am to 2pm. In the case of inclement weather, this first-ever swag swap will happen in the main lobby of the Union.
Whose shirts do we want?
Yours! This t-shirt swap is for all students, faculty, staff and alumni (so tell everyone you know).
What should I do now?
Besides telling everyone you know? How about you and your friends double dog dare each other to post the swap on social media using #TUproud (because you like a good challenge).
