Reminder: Skype for Business is retiring as of July 31. Use Webex Teams!
Towson University is retiring Skype for Business at 5 p.m. on Friday. This means it should no longer automatically start upon login. If Skype for Business is manually launched, you’ll see the following message: “This app has been blocked by your system administrator,” and you can just close the message box.
As communicated in the spring in TU Today a similar but improved alternative for faculty and staff is Webex Teams, an all-in-one solution for messaging, file sharing, white boarding, video meetings, and more.

- Get training: schedule an individual or departmental training session by contacting OTS Training at training@towson.edu.
- Get help: contact the OTS Faculty/Staff Help Center at 410-704-5151.
