CLA Students: Apply for Summer Internship Abroad!
IDLA 480: Global Internship in the Liberal Arts is a 6-credit, 8-week international internship program offered in Summer 2026. Students complete 225+ hours of hands-on professional experience abroad in fields such as NGOs, government, education, business, or cultural institutions, with personalized placement support from AIFS Abroad.
Throughout the program, students apply their academic knowledge in real-world settings, engage with local professionals, and develop key skills in intercultural communication and global career readiness. Academic components include weekly reflective journals, a short presentation, a final report, and an exit interview with a TU faculty supervisor.
Open to all Liberal Arts majors, this internship is ideal for students seeking meaningful international experience and professional growth. Interested students can contact Dr. Diego del Pozo at ddelpozo@towson.edu for more information or apply through Towson’s Horizons portal.
