Overnight roadwork along York Road
Later this week, Baltimore County and the State Highway Administration (SHA) will begin a long-term project to replace water lines and implement road improvements along York Road near TU. The work will take place from Newell Avenue to the Towson circle during the overnight hours on Sundays through Thursdays. SHA expects work to continue intermittently through fall 2027.
Students, faculty and staff traveling on or around campus from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. on weeknights should use extra caution and be mindful of adjusted traffic patterns such as lane closures. Both drivers and pedestrians should follow the directions of signage and flaggers to maintain safety. Pedestrians will have access to sidewalks throughout the project.
More information about the project is available on the SHA website.
