TU adds administrative leave to extend winter break

As an expression of appreciation, and as we all give thanks and prepare for the upcoming holiday season, the university’s Executive Leadership Team and President’s Cabinet are pleased to announce that the university will be closed, for all but essential personnel and emergency response, for two weeks during the winter holiday period.

With the addition of two one-time administrative leave days on Monday, Dec. 22 and Tuesday, Dec. 23, Towson University will be closed beginning Saturday, Dec. 20, 2025, through Sunday, Jan. 4, 2026. The university will reopen on Monday, Jan. 5, 2026.
