Open Educational Resources (OER) grant applications due Nov. 25

OER Application Due November 25, 2025.

Students need our help in keeping their education costs low. One way you can contribute is to develop and use Open Educational Resources (OER), teaching and learning materials that have been shared by their creators under open licenses that permit them to be reused, revised, remixed, redistributed, and retained indefinitely at no cost. FACET is pleased to offer mini grants to faculty for exploration ($500 per grant) or adoption/adaptation ($1000 per grant) of OER for their classes. In addition to the mini-grants, recipients receive support and mentoring from the TU OER Community of Practice (CoP), Only one grant per faculty member will be awarded within one calendar year.

Please note that, while we encourage using materials purchased by Cook Library to help lower student costs, such materials are not openly licensed for reuse and redistribution and, therefore, do not qualify as OER. As such, proposals to use library-purchased materials will not be funded through this program.
