Administrative unit transition updates
Today, TU announces some shifts of the operational reporting lines for campus administrative units as the search for a new CFO is underway.
Effective this month, the Office of Technology Services leadership, through Associate Vice President Susan Miltenberger, now reports to Provost & Executive Vice President Melanie Perreault on an interim basis. This is a transitional shift to support the OTS team while a national search is underway for TU’s next Chief Financial Officer.
Additionally, TU Printing Services has been moved from the Auxiliary Services team and now reports through the Division of Operations. This aligns the function with other units that support campus operations.
Also, TU announced that Follett has been selected to manage the University Store operations after a thorough RFP process. The contract with Follett will be managed out of the Division of Operations.
Finally, before the start of the fall semester, the internal graphic design team in TU Design & Graphic Services began reporting through the Division of University Marketing & Communications (UMC). This transition allows for more cohesion and collaboration in design and branding opportunities alongside the UMC creative team, which also should simplify the campus user experience.
TU anticipates these changes will enhance the services, strategy and support these units provide to campus.
