Tigers compete in the 2025 Weis Grocery Dash

Your donation decides who races the aisles — and supports Towson’s Basic Needs Hub!

It’s back — and it’s time to stock those bins, Tigers! The Weis Grocery Dash returns this fall, giving TU students, faculty, and staff a fun way to make a difference. From November 3–7, every nonperishable food donation you give is also a vote for which college’s student will race through Weis Markets for charity.

Meet the competitors:

  • Michael Dunn — College of Business & Economics (CBE)
  • Tailor D’Adamo — College of Education (COE)
  • Tatiana Agboh — College of Health Professions (CHP)
  • Scarlett Chappell — College of Fine Arts & Communication (COFAC)
  • Alphonso Faltz — College of Liberal Arts (CLA)
  • Baara Stewart — Fisher College of Science & Mathematics (FCSM)

Donate in your college’s collection bin — located in its academic building — between Nov. 3–7 to cast your vote. The college that collects the most donations wins bragging rights and sends its representative to compete in the Weis Grocery Dash, a high-energy, two-minute shopping spree at Weis Markets in Towson.

During the dash, the winning student will keep the items they grab — and Weis Markets will then double the total value of that haul as a donation to TU’s Basic Needs Hub, supporting students experiencing food insecurity.

Items the Basic Needs Hub needs most:
Ramen noodles • Mac & cheese • Ravioli • Microwavable meals • Canned tuna & chicken • Shelf-stable milk • Nut butter • Pasta & sauce • Canned fruit • Snacks

🗓 Donation period: November 3–7
📍 Bin location: In each college’s academic building
💛 Benefiting: TU’s Basic Needs Hub

🤝 Sponsored by: Weis Markets

Help your college take the lead — and help fellow Tigers in need.
Donate, vote, and cheer on your representative in the Weis Grocery Dash later this semester!
