Gain hands-on experience with community development and NGO work alongside our partner Starfish International, and connect with local students and organizations for a truly immersive learning experience. This program offers both undergraduate and graduate courses, and is an academic and professional experience you will talk about for years to come. Choose from one of the following courses:
- POSC 474 Special Topics in Political Science (3 credits)
- AFST 411 Topics in African and Africa American Studies (3 credits)
- POSCĀ 574 Special Topics inĀ Political Science (grad students only, 3 credits)
All participants will receive an automatic $300 College of Liberal Arts Scholarship, plus the program fee includes your roundtrip international airfare, housing, all meals, and even your Gambia entry visa.
