Maintaining Effective Communication with Research Students

When: Friday, November 7, at 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM

Where: Undergraduate Research Center at 10 West, Room 165

Join a group of faculty mentors of undergraduate and graduate students to discuss and share the knowledge and skills to establish and maintain effective communication with your mentees. Strategies for providing constructive feedback, improving communication, both in person and at a distance, active listening techniques will be discussed. This workshop is part of mentor training initiative provided by FACET and the Office of Undergraduate Research.
